Adria Vanhoozier Adria Vanhoozier is the Hospital President of Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg (RDHW). She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV). Adria came to Riverside in 2012 to
complete her administrative residency for her master’s program and continued within the company in various areas to include data/analytics, business development, project management, and strategic planning. Prior to accepting the position of Hospital President at RDHW, Adria served as the Cardiovascular-Pulmonary Service Line Administrator where she worked closely with leadership and physicians to develop and implement strategic business plans, provide financial analysis and to serve as an advisor on cardiovascular services for Riverside Health System.
Under her leadership, Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg was recognized with the QUEST Award for High-Value Healthcare from Premier Inc. for providing outstanding patient care. Riverside Doctors’ Hospital was also recognized for being first in the state for Patient Satisfaction by the Virginia Health Information (VHI) for 2018. In 2019, Riverside Doctors’ Hospital also became the first hospital in the Commonwealth to be accredited with the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Geriatric Emergency Department.
Adria is married to her ‘high school sweetheart’ Jacob Lambert and they have two sons, Callum, who is four years old and Kai, who is one year old. The family resides in the City of Williamsburg with their two rescue dogs. Adria has a passion for serving the Greater Williamsburg community. Under her joint leadership of the Greater Williamsburg HeartSafe Alliance, Williamsburg was designated as a HeartSafe Community. She is active in Board governance with Olde Towne Medical and Dental Center, Quarterpath Development, City of Williamsburg Economic Development Authority, Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce, Williamsburg Health Foundation, Jamestown Yorktown
Foundation, Inc., and Walsingham Academy. In 2017, Adria was the Honorary Chair of the Alzheimer’s walk.
