Amanda Deverich is a Marriage & Family Therapist and the practice owner of Williamsburg Counseling here in Williamsburg. She is a hope evangelist and found her calling working with individuals as well as couples. Amanda earned her master’s degree from The College of William & Mary. She is trained in Divorce Busting™, a solution-focused, effective strategy for reviving struggling relationships and is the only Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting™ practitioner in Virginia. In addition to her civilian counseling experience, Amanda was an officer participating in the debriefing team for the returned US Air Force prisoners of war during Operation Desert Storm. Amanda is an Ironman triathlete, reader, and writer with blog posts on the HuffingtonPost.com. She is a seasoned speaker and frequent instructor with The College of William & Mary’s Christopher Wren Association. Widowed in 2006, Amanda moved from Los Angeles to Williamsburg where she raised and launched two daughters on her own.
