Brandon Randall is the firstborn son of Edgar and Belinda Randall. Born in Charleston, WV, he grew up on the campus of West Virginia State College where both his mother and father matriculated. The family eventually moved to Williamsburg, VA, where he and his younger brother, Bryan, excelled athletically and academically. They led Bruton High School to their first and only boys basketball state championship in 2000. Brandon went on to play college basketball at Hampden-Sydney College, where he was named an Academic All-American and graduated as the class valedictorian in 2004 with a degree in Physics. He was also inducted into the Hampden-Sydney Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.
However, his greatest collegiate accomplishment was successfully courting his beautiful bride, Monique, whom he married in 2004. Together they have 3 amazing children, Amari (18), Isaiah (14), and Ayla (9). He spent the first 17 years of his professional life at the Anheuser-Busch Williamsburg Brewery. He had roles of increasing responsibility during his time at the brewery with his last role being a Business Process Manager. In 2021, he transitioned from A-B into the nonprofit space when he was tapped to become the Executive Director of Hospice House of Williamsburg, a residential home that provides end of life care and bereavement support services.
He is an active member of New Zion Baptist Church in Williamsburg, VA, where he serves as a deacon, praise and worship leader, Sunday School teacher, young adult ministry co-leader, and media team member. He is the co-director of the Edgar Randall Basketball Camp, and he also serves on the board of directors for the Community of Faith Mission, Williamsburg Landing, and the advisory board for the Hampden-Sydney Roundball Club. Ultimately, Brandon is a man who simply aims to love God, love others, and serve humanity.
