Rhiannon Ellis grew up surrounded by performing artists and book lovers, so becoming a writer was only natural. She is the author of three books and is an award-winning writer with several works in various publications, both print and digital. 

Fitness is yet another passion-turned-career, rooted in her childhood exposure to dance and martial arts. She teaches aqua fitness classes and one-on-one personal training sessions, but her happy place is on the dance floor with her Zumba Tribe!

Rhiannon is living life to the fullest with her two teenagers, Cameron (17) and Dane (14). She is a Virginia native and the owner of Impact Fitness.

Williamsburg native Carla Randolph Howell fell in love with Zumba in 2019. After some serious health issues, she was determined to find a physical activity that she could do and stay consistent with. After surviving her very first class with Rhiannon, she was hooked!! Dance fitness was her jam. This style of dance fitness has aided Carla in losing over 140lbs and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It truly was the catalyst that started her on her health and wellness journey. In Zumba you have the opportunity shake your money maker and meet new friends. As they say shake till you make it!!

Chris Jones is an award-winning journalist and magazine editor who has interviewed a multitude of interesting people—from entrepreneurs and executives to celebrities and bestselling authors.

He’s curious about ideas that provoke thought, inspire growth, and help individuals live their best lives while relating to others.

When not with his family, he enjoys reading, wandering, and retro Nintendo. 

Kimberly Griffin is sixty years old and has lived in Williamsburg for 20+ years. She enjoys traveling with her husband Jimmy and spending time in the chaos of their two- and four-year-old grandchildren. She has been dancing in Zumba class for over 3 1/2 years and absolutely loves it!

Bob Soderholm retired after working 37 years at Surry Power Station as a Reactor Operator and Simulator Support Coordinator. Bob enjoys wood carving caricature figures and realistic faces. He recently started bass fishing with his son Patrick and friends, including events with the Tidewater chapter of Hero’s On The Water. Four times a week Bob is on the Zumba dance floor. He is blessed to be married to his wife Susan for 47 years. He has four sons and fifteen grandchildren.

Susan Soderholm, a massage therapist for the last eighteen years, is known by her clients as one with magic hands that work with a nurturing touch. Susan loves teaching her fifteen grandchildren how to cook and sew. Many family members and friends snuggle under beautiful quilts Susan has made. Susan loves her morning walks where she can get kisses from her husband Bob under their special tree that has bunches of mistletoe! 

MJ Devaney was born and raised just outside of New York City and has lived in Williamsburg for almost twenty years. She is a freelance copy editor and costumer. An active member of the Williamsburg-area Zumba community, she has been doing Zumba for more than ten years. 

Stacy Budde has lived in Williamsburg for over 19 years. She is a physical therapist at a local hospital and loves helping people move and feel better. Zumba has been her favorite exercise for the last 15 years and she enjoys going to classes whenever she can. Stacy also spends some of her free time volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association. Otherwise, you will find her hanging out with her husband of 22 years, her 15-year-old son, 10-year-old daughter and 13-year-old Rottweiler. Stacy can’t wait to perform on stage with her Impact Fitness teammates and appreciates the support of her family and friends!

Leila Mufdi has lived in Virginia for the majority of the last 10 years. Before settling down in Williamsburg with her husband and 2 kids, she lived a little all over in Chicago, Philadelphia, Florida, and North Carolina. She is always up for a travel adventure, especially with a food tour. She loves being outdoors, hiking and dancing. Having volunteered for Literacy for Life in the past, she is excited to be part of the Impact Fitness team.

Kirsten Honaker was born April 29th 1969, the same year a man landed on the moon. Originally from  Westwood, California in LA county, she has moved 46 times in her lifetime and loves to travel. Kirsten has been married to her wonderful husband Raylando for 29 years, who made her an Air Force wife. She has three beautiful daughters and is a “Glamma” of three wonderful grandkids. You can often find Kirsten at the beach enjoying the beautiful sun or working out in Zumba classes. She is very adventurous –from riding fun roller coasters to soaring in hot air balloons! Kirsten has a very kind heart and is a person who will always be there to give a big hug and a helping hand. No matter what is going on in her life she keeps that smile going with positive thoughts. Her favorite quote is: Live, Laugh and Love.”
